Known for it’s powdery white-sand beaches, year-round sunshine and cloudless skies, crystal-clear blue waters, and lines of palm trees, it was a vacation away from, well another vacation . To be perfectly honest, it was hard to come back to Boca Chica. We got pushed off our gua gua and onto the side of the dusty highway where we hiked quietly to Mike and Jodi’s house we were thinking the same thing. Unfortunately, we didn’t have a place to plop down just yet. Thanks to Mike and Jodi, we drove into town to the apartment where we’d planned to live.
