Consumerism, A global dialect. Friday, February 4, 2011. Allan Kaprow's Happenings and todays' Reinvention. I definitely agree- he seemed very focused on creating art that couldnt stay the same, which is quite different from the the traditional historical view of art (i.e. one enduring image that will last forever)! I think he was aiming to redefine how art functions in society, as well as what art is.a question no one seems to have successfully found an answer for yet, unfortunately. Boom sports. Bam.

Wednesday, May 9, 2012. The Failure of Fair Use and the future of Free Culture. Man Ray's photograph of Marcel Duchamp's. In general, the age of Web 2.0 provides more and more chances for people out there to take other people's stuff transforming those to their own work. While contemplating the ownership issues regarding to the phenomenon, we should really pay special attention to the aura, the idea, and the message of the work instead of blindly accusing others of copying. Sunday, April 29, 2012. In general, the formation of transmedia storytelling depends tightly on the dispersion of the story itself, and it needs the effort of both the grassroots and the story creator to survive. The interconnection of fans incites the brainstorm of the story, and the creators have an easy access to more inspiration to keep the storytelling going based on the favor of its fans. The Flow: September 2010

Friday, September 24, 2010. Modern ways of surveillance -a controversial character. Lynndie England holding a leash attached to a prisoner. To be honest, I was not shocked when watching Errol Morris. It is another example of exposing how dirty can human nature get when put in some "proper" circumstances like being a prison guard in Abu Ghraib prison. It's not hard to find an example to prove the heinous nature of human being. Just like the Hello Kitty murder. Surveillance camera in Chinese classroom.

Evan Tracy's Blog: New Short Film In Progress
http://evanmichaeltracy.blogspot.com/2010/11/new-short-film-in-progress.html
Wednesday, November 17, 2010. New Short Film In Progress. I'm making a three minute surrealist short film. I'm really into the director, David Lynch, and I plan on drawing heavily from his works. One scene I'm very interested in is when the main character is shown walking in this industrial landscape. You can watch the clip here. The scene I'm interested in is at about 6 minutes in. This is a still of the shot. Eraserhead" David Lynch 1977. November 17, 2010 at 2:15 PM. Will you include a soundtrack?

Thursday, February 16, 2012. Öller is a very intriguing German artist who focuses on creating an experimental setting for his exhibit goers to put themselves into. His most famous works are slides. Exhibit goers often have to sign a waiver that does indicate there might be some serious consequences to his work. Once series, Light Wall, is a wall full of lights going on an off at a frequency of 7.8 hertz, that will more likely than not cause problems for an epileptic. Monday, February 13, 2012. Nick Olson...

Jessica Meismer: January 2012
http://jessicameismer.blogspot.com/2012_01_01_archive.html
Wednesday, January 25, 2012. Video Concept and Treatment. I want to focus on what was great about her life, her family, and her home, and what it might have been like had she become a nun. Then I want to get images from my family, possibly film if there is any available/arrives in time and use that as an avenue for a walk down memory lane scene. This would include traveling to a farm. The working title is: The Letter that Could Have Changed Everything. Tuesday, January 24, 2012. Experience it for Yourself.
