Swoon on a Saturday. Sunday, 9 August 2015. Happy wedding anniversary to Andy and myself for tomorrow! Sixteen years ago we exchanged wedding vows in St Austell, Cornwall and had our photos taken in Truro, also in Cornwall. My engagement ring is set with an emerald as I read it was good luck to have your husbands birthstone in your engagement ring. My wedding dress was made as a gift, making this easily my 'new' item. The necklace I wore was vintage and borrowed and my circlet of flowers was also 'old'.

Swoon on a Saturday. Wednesday, 5 August 2015. Whipsnade Zoo has free range residents, namely mara and wallabies. I had seen mara before but never actually knew what they were so I was interested to find out what they were called from someone who worked at the zoo. The Folly Boat is a Charleston, South Carolina legend and landmark that was washed ashore near Folly Beach in Charleston, South Carolina during Hurricane Hugo. After nobody claimed the boat, passers-by began painting messages and pictures on the boat.
