Mare parte din succesul unui blog culinar vine din imaginile pe care le publică și care pot fi de calitate - ai spune - dacă sunt făcute cu aparate profesionale, așa numitele DSLR. Câți dintre bloggerii culinari au aparate foto de tip DSLR. Probabil doar cei pentru care blogul este mai mult decât un hobby. Câți folosesc camere compacte. Așa numitele ”săpuniere”?
