Dec 6, 2014. To get the most of this recipe you need to plan it in advance as you need to marinade the chicken in buttermilk for 24 hours minimum. The enzymes in the butter milk help tenderise the chicken and keep it moist when frying, I also find you get a crisper end result. Most supermarkets stock buttermilk. I used 8 chicken thighs and 500 ml of buttermilk. After the chicken has been marinated for 24 hours it is ready to be dredged in your flour mix. My mix for this recipe was. 100g/3 oz rice flour.

Slow cooked flank steak chilli. 7 hours 20 mins. Slow cooked flank steak chilli. 1 kg Flank Steak. 8 squares dark chocolate. 1 bulb smoked garlic. 1 tin chopped tomatoes. 1 tin kidney beans. Salt and pepper to season. Place the dried chillis in a bowl and cover with hot water to rehydrate. Finely chop onions and mince garlic fry until softened in olive oil. Place in a preheated oven at 140c for 6-8 hours, this could also be cooked in a slow cooker placed on before you go to work in the morning.
