http://fortysomethingfirsttimemum.blogspot.com/2013_09_01_archive.html
A Change of Life as I hurtle towards same! Friday, September 20, 2013. Can Love Of Work Become Work Of Love? The other day my little boy came home from school and asked me why I didn't work. A Change of Life as I hurtle towards same! Monday, November 18, 2013. I'm standing by the living room door. He's playing happily with his toys. He asks why I am staring at him. I only realise I'm doing it when he asks the question. He asks me to stop because he doesn't like it. I think how my mother often does the same to me. Everything about him is magical, the fact that he's part me and part his Dad. I hope he gets his Dad's brains. And not my tendency to veer away from the logical and drive my...Will ...

Forty Something First Time Yogini: Can You Ever Get Enough Hugs? How do you feel?
http://fortysomethingfirsttimeyogini.blogspot.com/2012/04/can-you-ever-get-enough-hugs-how-do-you.html
Forty Something First Time Yogini. Wednesday, April 4, 2012. Can You Ever Get Enough Hugs? How do you feel? I have also posted this over at my main blog FortySomethingFirstTimeMum. I welcome comments on both blogs! Can you ever get enough hugs? The answer for some, would be a resounding yes because they don't consider themselves to be huggy people. They are uncomfortable with touchy, feely people and so they retreat from. Rather than respond to. There is even a facebook page and a website. I know hugs ma...
A Writing Passage: 11/7/10 - 11/14/10
http://awritingpassage.blogspot.com/2010_11_07_archive.html
Friday, November 12, 2010. With the birth of my daughter, I received the gift of seeing my child’s nakedness. There was no shyness, no awkwardness, not even a thought this would change. As she grew into her toddler years, her baths became adventures, not just a time to get clean. And I continued to have the privilege of seeing her nakedness, sometimes as she ran through the house dripping wet and giggling, with me chasing after her with a fluffy towel. I watched as her body began to change into adolescen...

With my blog, I want to provide suggestions on how to overcome these little and big varmints, and then provide support for when they weasel their way back in. Links to this post. http://awritingpassage.blogspot.com/2010/11/prompt-first-line-question_24.html
Wednesday, November 24, 2010. Prompt, First Line and Question. With Thanksgiving just around the bend, it is fitting to somehow connect our writing activities with the holiday. So here we go . Write about a turkey. Could be the turkey bird, or someone you consider a turkey. Have fun! Michel, quit hitting your sister with that turkey drumstick.". What happens with your writing when the holidays come on the scene? Does your writing time suffer or do you continue on regardless of the holiday activities?

Musings of an ageing lardarse :). Raw chocolate recipe: coconut bad boys. The most delicious chocolate I’ve ever tasted. Yes, I would say that, because it’s my recipe. But try it for yourself and I think you’ll agree it’s pretty special! You are what you eat: an epiphany. The day I worked out (with a bit of well-intended criticism from hubby) that actually, I am what I eat. Good food = nice Debs. Crap food = monster. Check out my handy guide that will help you on your way. April 1, 2014. March 6, 2014.

The forty-something feminist – Crazy lady logic and middle aged mindfulness
Why the Fortysomething Feminist? Crazy lady logic and middle aged mindfulness. June 24, 2016. June 24, 2016. I’m one of 16,141,241 who didn’t want to leave. Sixteen MILLION people. 48% of the vote. It seems grossly unfair, that despite nearly half the country wanting to remain in the EU, despite over 16 million people saying ‘you know what? I love you guys! 8217; I want to shout at everyone who voted leave and ask them. I can’t fathom. But where would we go? What does the future look like now? 8211; we&#...
