I get a question basically every day about the exact location of Latvia. Here’s some info. Latvia is in Europe, on the eastern side of the Baltic Sea, immediately west of Russia, south of Estonia, north of Lithuania, and west of Sweden. Here are a few maps with Latvia highlighted. Riga, the capital and the city where I live, is the largest city in Latvia and is home to a little over one million people. The city is about 600 miles west of Moscow and 1400 miles from London.
