The part of everything. I don't know a lot about everything, but I do know a lot about the part of everything that I know, which is people. Saturday, June 14, 2014. It's happened again. Someone else I know is "going gluten free.". This isn't my picture. Though that would be awesome if it were. Now let me preface this with a statement: if you have symptoms that are similar to the ones I have previously described. Feel about your decision. On the one hand, it's not always considered polite to speak you...

Had to be analyzed and changed again. I think we ended up with some great eats though, and this blog is just as much to save the recipes as it is to share with anyone else who is interested! I had to get a special turkey this year, since the turkey we got from the commissary a while back made me sick. I found a great vendor. 1 box of chic...

A paleo alfredo recipe. When you are trying to stay away from gluten, corn, and dairy, it becomes nearly impossible to buy packaged food products. Simple dinners with packaged sauces are a thing of the past. 2 teaspoons arrowroot starch (tapioca starch can be used as well). Combine all the ingredients in a sauc...

The part of everything. I don't know a lot about everything, but I do know a lot about the part of everything that I know, which is people. Saturday, November 22, 2014. Every year, our class gets the wonderful opportunity to visit a local Japanese elementary school. Cultural exchanges like this are just one of the bonuses of living on an overseas base, and the students (both American and Japanese) look forward to them! While there, we were also taught how to make spinners (tops) out of cardboard cartons ...

The part of everything. I don't know a lot about everything, but I do know a lot about the part of everything that I know, which is people. Sunday, March 29, 2015. Tokyo tasting: a gluten free guide to traveling and eating out in tokyo. On our first trip to Tokyo. I really enjoyed the city but didn't plan to visit again. It was too big, and there were too many people. We added other Japanese cities to our list of places to visit, not envisioning a return to Tokyo in the near future. Then, celiac happened.

The part of everything. I don't know a lot about everything, but I do know a lot about the part of everything that I know, which is people. Saturday, March 8, 2014. Summer dreamin': a grain-free quesadilla with avocado dipping sauce recipe. I'm sure I get like this just about every year at this time. The best way to describe it is stir-crazy. That was this weekend. Granted, this time it was only inches and not feet. It was enough, though, to send everyone scrambling to their closets for their new...For m...

From Utah With Love. Stories and pictures from our growing family. There isn't much to update about our family these dates, except that we have such wonderful girls we can hardly stand it. Bethany is almost completely potty trained and says so many words we can hardly keep up. She is currently in a phase of loving her baby dolls and wanting to do everything with her babies that Mommy does with Samantha. And Samantha is just growing so much! We finally got Bethany's porch swing up too!
