News from the Bierer household. Wednesday, March 3, 2010. So good for your self esteem. Yesterday morning I got out of bed and went upstairs to wake her up for the day. I happened to be wearing a floor-length nightgown that was bright pinkish red. She looked at me from her bed and her eyes got wide and this was our exchange:. You look like a PRINCESS! Mommy: Why thank you Danika! A BIG OLD Princess! Sigh It's a good thing that my self-esteem is connected to more than my 3 yr old's opinion of me.

It is a given in our family that I'm not real gifted in the home-making arena. Thank God my husband loves me anyway. Give me a large event with speakers, attendees, and activities to organize, I'm your woman. Give me a house and a kitchen to take care of.well.not so much. I have the Christmas tree up and decorated. News from the Bierer household. Friday, August 28, 2009. Update on Papa Jerry. It's a bad boo-boo. I think he owes us big for this, right Joanie? Here's a picture of his poor little head - they had to remove such a large portion of skin that it was a tight squeeze to put it back together without a graft. News from the Bierer household. Saturday, September 5, 2009. Sept 3, 2009 Danika and the Meerkats. My precious little girl - we went to the zoo a lot while I was off work on maternity leave. It was really so much fun! On this particular day, we were at the zoo and when we got to this display, she asked what the animals were called. I told her they were "meerkats". at which point she started to laugh and yell "Come here cats! As cracking me up. :). Oh - and those little shorts and shirt she is wearing?
