Entropy: Got some catching up to do!
http://katyfarina.blogspot.com/2010/04/got-some-catching-up-to-do.html
26 April, 2010. Got some catching up to do! It's been a long time since I last updated! A lot has happened since February, specifically in the art department. I didn't update too much in March seeing as I was finishing the buffer for my webcomic. They all have names and a "story", but it's not all that important; just an extra tidbit for me to use as inspiration for their appearance. The bottom two Pokemon are preliminary artwork for a series of "animal mascot" buttons. Of course there the obliga...I lov...

Entropy: February 2011
http://katyfarina.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
27 February, 2011. Then And Now: Senior Project. I love it when artists wait a few years then re-do something they put a lot of time and effort into to judge their degree of improvement. So I totally did just that! Above is the new version. I took the same concept sketch (rather then several other concepts I had done at the time) and reworked it. I am pretty satisfied with the results! Below is the old version, from 2009. It was part of my senior project. I'm actually revisiting the whole project.

Entropy: June 2009
http://katyfarina.blogspot.com/2009_06_01_archive.html
28 June, 2009. I've been offering $10 commissions lately, and this is the first one of them. The character is based off the Pokemon Gorebyss. I think the design is really cute, and I ended up having a lot of fun drawing this. I swear to god I've been drawing, really! Posted by Katy Farina. 17 June, 2009. Sora Zack = Inevitble Chaos. What is that you saaayyyy? Fanart, from me? Well, this is just something to show that I'm not actually dead. D:. Posted by Katy Farina. 01 June, 2009. This is the beginning o...

Blank Speech: The Gettysburg Address, perhaps, instead?
http://jamiewashington.blogspot.com/2008/11/gettysburg-address-perhaps-instead.html
Monday, November 10, 2008. The Gettysburg Address, perhaps, instead? My graduating class just dodged a bullet with the commencement speeches. All I can say is: Holy cow, and, ohmygoodness thank gawd. Finished the concept art and finals for the Target Giftcard project. Then again, I kind of want to see a giftcard with the image of a giftcard on it. With the words, "Sorry for the lousy gift, but you're picky and I'm lazy" plastered on it. Back to working on Senior Project stuffs. Huzzah. An Armada of Ideas.

Sunday, April 11, 2010. Happy VD Day. (Better late than never). This needs a lot of work yet (maybe someday I'll redo the background 'cause there's totally tangent action going on, and the way I handled the text sucks), but c'mon, it's still pretty frickin' awesome. (Pen and digital color). Jen this is awesome, Im sad I missed it in person :( Ill post my v-day card too! April 14, 2010 at 8:36 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile. Friday, December 12, 2008. I guess I should have posted this a long time ago. I wanted to remind you to keep your pets safe on Halloween. Acrylic. His Ass Ain't Hairy (this is ridiculous). Created following a random overheard conversation. Used likenesses of Roxy and Mikey. Vine charcoal and digital color. Wednesday, December 10, 2008. Gouache/Bad scan again. Of course. They're not great singers, but they each have their own song that differentiates them from one another. Tuesday, December 9, 2008.
