But he remained active, and that included regular visits to the Vivian Arms Pub in Swansea with his seven best friends. When he died Roger left $6,000 in his will for his friends to enjoy a weekend getaway to a European city. And so off to Berlin they went, toasting Roger’s memory all the way. July 21st, 2024.

The weeds are done, what little there is of the lawn could do with a whipper snip, vines are tied down, plants fertilised and the lemon tree has been pruned. We have had unseasonal rain and chilly nights but all is finally looking rather nice. The pumpkin patch is finally taking off. The tomato patch has some green fruit.
