She used to call them splatter cookies, because you splatter them with water! Here is her recipe:. 1 cup brown sugar. A little white sugar* *blend together. 2 1/4 cups flour. 1) mix dry ingredients with the rest. 2) roll into balls and then roll in sugar. 3) place on a cookie sheet and sprinkle a few water drops on each.
