This is the old grain silo, built back in 1767 and used for storing surplus grain ready for the (inevitable) hard times, and Frigiliana suffered more than its fair share of those over the centuries. The Almijara is not a bad little tapas bar with a small street terrace, watch the world go by.

Sidan är under uppbyggnad. Lördag 17 juli 2010. Och alltihop stod på ett tio meter långt 1700-talsskepp. Det här tycker jag är häftigt. Sex meter under Ground Zero, där 2752 människor dog i terroristattacken 11 september 2001, har man hittat ett tio meter långt skepp från 1700-talet som helt enkelt bland annan bråte utgjorde grunden för utbyggnaden av halvön Manhattan. Och på det har de båda jättehusen stått! Utan att skeppet har gått sönder mer än det redan var när det begravdes! Fantastiskt, tycker jag.
