A Blog every Sunday: An enjoyable birthday
http://blogeverysunday.blogspot.com/2012/03/enjoyable-birthday.html
A Blog every Sunday. Sunday, 18 March 2012. It's been a busy couple of weeks and time has flown by. I think you all know that my Grandad went into hospital just before my birthday, I've been in Cumbria (without a web connection) making daily hospital visits for the past week. On Saturday they moved him to Preston, where my brother Gary lives, so I've now returned home briefly before scooting off to Cambridge to teach workshops all next week. I went to Archery practice as part of my 'birthday week'!

A Blog every Sunday: Monday
http://blogeverysunday.blogspot.com/2012/02/monday.html
A Blog every Sunday. Monday, 27 February 2012. I love snowdrops, we saw these in some bracken during a walk at the weekend. Just a short blog this week as I'm bit behind with things. Helen just reminded me that it's a leap year, so I feel quite please that we've got an extra day on Wednesday to catch up. It's also only a week to go until my Birthday, we've got a couple of trip out planned, so I'm hoping to have recovered by then. 27 February 2012 at 16:07. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Dragonflies and Damselflies: Odonata
http://dragonflies-and-damselflies.blogspot.com/2009/06/odonata.html
A blog dedicated to all things Odonata,. Written by an ecologist and dragonfly-enthusiast. Based in the United Kingdom. Libellula fulva . Monday, 22 June 2009. Entomologists have been puzzled as to why Fabricius chose the name Odonata for the dragonflies and damselflies since the mandibles of most insects are toothed and a name indicating "toothed mandibles" is no more significant for dragonflies than it would be for beetles or grasshoppers. For more information on the name Odonata see the article.
