A local environmental center, The Riverside Project in Charles Town, WV, has begun enrollment into their new pilot Nature/Forest school. It is designed using the European Forest School model and is being offered to 3-6 year olds. My family is soooo excited about this and have enrolled our 4 year old for this coming fall. What a blessing to have such rich resources so near to my family. How amazing does this sound?

July 23, 2014. Our Antietam neighbors Stacy and Marlin have created a flourishing garden across from their farmhouse at the corner of Harpers Ferry and Canal. I intend to stop with the girls one day soon to investigate their crop more closely, but today I just had time for a quick snapshot with my iPhone of these beauties. Fruit Cobbler, and Traveling with Toddlers | Lots of Everything
https://lotsofeverything.wordpress.com/2010/07/07/fruit-cobbler-and-traveling-with-toddlers
Food, cooking, and a touch of decadence. Fruit Cobbler, and Traveling with Toddlers. I wrote a little story about super-simple fruit cobbler, which came to me via my friend Dean. And a 1980s book on coastal Carolina cookery. I changed the recipe in Dean’s post to reflect my tastes, including using buttermilk instead of regular milk and some vanilla sugar for the regular sugar. The resulting cobbler is delicious and simple, and I urge you to give it a go. July 7, 2010 / 9:55 pm. Jump to comment form.
