Gardening with God: PLANT SALE

http://gardeningwithgod.blogspot.com/2008/06/plant-sale.html

I have named my blog, "Gardening with God", because I truly believe that all plants, especially herbs, are God's gift's to us. To enjoy, and in some cases, to cure our ailments. Saturday, June 14, 2008. Today was a beautiful day! I held my plant sale from 10-6. I had a pretty good turnout, but I think if I had held it a few weeks earlier I would have sold more. Note the great sign. My Brother-in-Law is a sign painter and he painted the sign for me, I think that it helped draw people in. Tomorrow I will h...

I have named my blog, "Gardening with God", because I truly believe that all plants, especially herbs, are God's gift's to us. To enjoy, and in some cases, to cure our ailments. Monday, December 31, 2007. This picture is of my Son at 1 year old, celebrating the New Year. We had so much fun with him. He is now 21, and won't let me decorate him like this anymore.I wonder why? The one resolution that I never have trouble keeping is: No outdoor gardening until Spring. Everyone have a safe and happy New Year.

Musings of a Kentucky Gardener: February 2008

http://kentuckygardener.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html

Wednesday, February 27, 2008. Is That a Snowbow! The only thing missing from the bow was the part that would have made the arch over the sun. So.let me guess.those of you in the colder climates get this sort of thing all the time? I've lived in Ky for 14 years and in Ohio for 23 and this is the first snowbow I've ever seen! Thursday, February 21, 2008. The nort...

Gators In The Garden

Gators In The Garden. Is there even a remote chance that you could find a gator sunning next to your gardenia? Do Live Oaks and Spanish Moss provide a deep, shady canopy over your azaleas? Then you garden in a climate similar to the ones we love to cultivate, visit, and photograph around Charleston, SC. Tuesday, January 25, 2011. Checking weather records for the previous week the coldest temp was 23 degrees a few days earlier, not enough to cause the new damage. I can speculate that it may have been ...
