Cozumel

From Cozumel, we took a boat to Xcaret. A Mexican eco-park. We visited the zoo area, the aquarium, and swam in the underwater river. I have pictures of Marie, Stan, and Beth (me! Kelley was with us, too. Click any picture for a full-sized image. We were there shortly after a hurricane, and not everything had been cleaned up yet. The grounds were absolutely gorgeous. The midnight buffet was amazing. They had a 'picture taking' time before opening the buffet for eating- there were bunches of us with cameras. Click any picture for a full-sized image. Climbing Dunns River Falls. Looking down the falls. Our tour guide stopped at a local school- so that we'd give money to the teacher. The river tubing was fun- it was a beautiful day and we just floated down the river. I saw a really cute t-shirt for Jennica- but I wanted it tied at the bottom. The woman said it would just take 5 minutes. That was 5 minutes island time, apparently, but Jennica loved the shirt. Back to the Ship. Last updated 11 Jan 2009.
