Domestication: Crockpot Mexican Chicken
http://shiloh-domestication.blogspot.com/2012/05/crockpot-mexican-chicken.html
The art of learning to keep a house, cook, be a wife and a mother. Thursday, May 3, 2012. So, imagine my amazement when, one day, I was surfing on Pinterest and found a recipe for chicken tacos. It only used three ingredients and was cooked in the crockpot. I followed the link and it lead me here. I decided to put it on my constantly-growing "cook this" list. Let, lemme give you the recipe and then I'll talk more about it. :). 6 boneless, skinless chicken breasts. 1 envelope of taco seasoning. Now, if yo...

Shiloh's Stitches: February 2011
http://shilohsstitches.blogspot.com/2011_02_01_archive.html
Come look at my projects! Saturday, February 26, 2011. No real news on the home front. I've been kinda in a funk as of late, but it hasn't stopped me from stitching. I'm making really good progress on the baby record I've been working on. Had to set aside my secret project, but that's okay. One of the figures is giving me a terrible time, and I just can't seem to get the numbers right. . It's coming along great, I think! The bows actually look like bows now! Wednesday, February 23, 2011. A bird's eye view.

Shiloh's Stitches: Last WIP for Baby Record and Miscellaneous
http://shilohsstitches.blogspot.com/2011/03/last-wip-for-baby-record-and.html
Come look at my projects! Thursday, March 3, 2011. Last WIP for Baby Record and Miscellaneous. On the baby record, the only things I have left to do are the French Knots (which I loathe), and the name and weight. That won't get done until the baby is born, of course, but I know what the options are so I can kind of prep. Home is Where the Heart is. Also, I have a picture of my super secret. But it's only part of it. Can't give the whole thing away, now can I? Now who is that? View my complete profile.

Pixels, Art, and Me: Sewing in Circles
http://pixels-art-and-me.blogspot.com/2011/02/sewing-in-circles.html
Pixels, Art, and Me. A Weblog of Geekcraft, Art, Crafts, and whatever else catches my attention. Wednesday, February 23, 2011. I've listed various crafts that have been used to create or re-create a pixelated look before. And I'm always looking for ways to expand my craft repertoire. Which is why I love going to the library. There are SO many treasures of knowledge just waiting to be exposed. Simple if you can sew and use a hand iron. Iron, yes, sew - not so much. Called the "Quick" Yo-Yo Maker. It's...

I am a mother of two small children, both of whom have temperatures of over 100 F and one has pneumonia, plus I'm suffering from a chest cold and an ear infection. I have not finished my planned posts. I will post as soon as I can! Don't give up on me! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Pixels, Art, and Me. A Weblog of Geekcraft, Art, Crafts, and whatever else catches my attention. Saturday, March 19, 2011. Sprite Stitch to the Rescue. It looks like I'm going to be Pokecrazy for most of this year. A while back I did an interview with the creator of Sprite Stitch, an online community that I'm a part of. We were discussing a possible monthly challenge and that morphed into wishing we could do something for the people of Japan. We're cutting our teeth on the First Generation for a start.

Pixels, Art, and Me. A Weblog of Geekcraft, Art, Crafts, and whatever else catches my attention. Thursday, March 17, 2011. Back and Catching 'em All! Yeah, you read that right. It's Catching season ya'all - Pokemon Gen V season that is. And I'm unashamedly a Pokemon Fan - I mean, you saw my Pikachu right? Well since Pokemon Black and White were released last week I thought it would be a good time to talk about how this global phenomenon came to be. Red and Green were soon followed by Blue which had bette...

Pixels, Art, and Me. A Weblog of Geekcraft, Art, Crafts, and whatever else catches my attention. Thursday, January 27, 2011. I say Pixel, you say . . . For many people that could mean a PLETHORA of things. For example, they could use the definition - In digital imaging, a pixel (or picture element) is a single point in a raster image. Or you could say - well, actually how about I let these people show you . . . How about Perler Bead art? Now that's classy graffiti. 'Nuff said. By Lolli62 found on Flikr.

http://shilohsstitches.blogspot.com/2011/03/baby-shower-gift-tag.html
Come look at my projects! Sunday, March 20, 2011. Baby Shower Gift Tag. So, today I had a baby shower to go to. No biggie. Of course, I remembered that at 6:00pm last night. Hadn't bought anything, so I scrambled to run out to Target and get something. As I'm doing all this, I get the great idea to make a cross stitch gift tag. Shouldn't take me too long, right? Cute lil' diaper pins. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Please visit the Patchwork Pokemon Gym's forums. View my complete profile. C) Shiloh ...

http://shilohsstitches.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Come look at my projects! Tuesday, April 5, 2011. Yeah, it's been awhile since I updated. Things have been pretty crazy over here, what with Dylan's new job and all that fun stuff. The other day, my mom taught me how to do French Knots (again! And so know I feel comfortable enough in finishing my baby record. So, hopefully you'll see the completely finished project soon. My super secret project has been put on hold because *insert trumpets here* I've been working on a project started over at Sprite Stitch.
