Being the operative word ;-). Getting to the gate at Sheremetyevo (sp? But you're not done yet! But I made the mistake of trying to ex...

Author of Medieval Romances. Born and raised in Erie PA. I have a wonderful, huge extended family that I visit whenever I can. I went to Catholic school growing up- and an all-girls high school. I met my husband at college. We were "brothers" in the same fraternity (it was a professional fraternity, so co-ed). After we married, we settled in central New York, which has been home ever since. How I started writing. I continued writing a series of 50 or so books with the same characters (and then their kids).

Adopting Little Sister: Hello, Moscow, Part Two: First Blood
http://adoptinglittlesister.blogspot.com/2008/11/hello-moscow-part-two-first-blood.html
Thursday, November 6, 2008. Hello, Moscow, Part Two: First Blood. So The plan was that when nap was finished, we would go outside and explore the area. And that's how it began. We put on the coat and the snowpants (it's cold here in Moscow, especially after the tropic of Astrakhan) and the hat and the mitts, and off we went. There was lots of activity on the street, so she was happy for a while, even in the demon stroller. We were both pretty tired so we had a very quiet evening. I still can't make t...

Thursday, November 6, 2008. Hello, blog readers! We're in Moscow, safe and sound, with a napping girl and Wifi that is working once again. Life is very good :-). There's a reason it took me almost the entire day to pack 3 bags :-) But by 4:00 everything was set, all the bags were packed and zipped and sorted into piles, and we were ready for the the call that is was time to go get her passport. So we waited. She h...

Rusticating in the Tropics. My two cents on romantic fiction. All posts tagged avonromance. At Fairfield Orchard book review. Published August 10, 2016. Romance novel heroes tend to be sports stars or billionaires or cowboys. Not so in Emma Cane’s. Her leading man is a professor. His field is history, and his future tenure rests on proving a theory about Thomas Jefferson. To do so, he seeks out the current owners of land sold to their ancestors by the great TJ himself. Science Fiction and Fantasy. Only An Earl Will Do by Tamara Gill. Only an Earl Will Do. To Marry a Rogue #1 Series. Elizabeth stood motionless as her mother, the Duchess of Penworth, paced before the lit hearth, her golden silk gown billowing out behind her, the deep frown between her eyes daring anyone to follow her. No. Let me rephrase that. The family is ruined. All my girls, their futures, have been kicked to the curb like some poor street urchins. What had Henry said? Her mother, quietly staring out...
