Sunday, November 23, 2008. Ari has been fighting a cold all week, so on Saturday Jon took D to his family's early Thanksgiving and I stayed home so Ari could rest. We thought it would be a good time to give each other pedicures with out D's distraction. I do find it hard to have any "quiet" girl time when he's here! Soaking her little feet. Thursday, February 26, 2009. Weight Watchers Soup Recipe.by popular demand. A few people have asked me for the recipe. With a thick slice of Tillamook. Extra sharp cheddar, it usually fills me up and its super duper healthy.BTW that cheeseburger. I just mentioned (you know the bacon one? Well that is my treat I'm going to make myself when I hit the 20 lb mark. Until then. Oh, I also don't really know the amounts b/c I just throw whatever I have in this soup, I really don't think you could mess it up!

Tuesday, December 30, 2008. Christmas Eve morning started with an early visit from euro-Wayde, I mean Santa Wade.He came by and dropped some presents off for the kiddos. He's such a good best friend to D. Just ask Darren who is best friend is.he'll tell you."Wayde my best friend". White chocolate obsession cake". My kids were really lacking this year, this is before Santa came. Uncle Brad did good! Missy with her Barbie Diamond Castle stuff.talk about a cult. Leaving cookies and chocolate milk for Santa.

Thursday, December 18, 2014. I took a few quick pictures as she was getting her x rays. She is such a pro at this! I got her antibiotic (Cefdinir) and some lunch. She fell asleep shortly after eating. I'm hoping we aren't looking at pneumonia. She has such a bad and constant cough. She will be missing out on her Christmas party at school. I do the school's yearbook so I will have to go and take pictures. I'll pick up her treats so hopefully that will make her feel better. How cute is this? Ava's visitors...

Friday, November 21, 2014. A Change of Heart. Then on Wednesday her heart rate dropped to 44. I went over to her and checked her pulse myself. I got 38 beats a minute and they were very shallow. I grew concerned. I woke her and the heart rate got better. I then let her go back to sleep but it continued to get lower and lower. The nurse asked if she wanted to remove all the stickers herself. Of course she did! There are 5 leads and the monitor itself is attached to her jeans. November 22, 2014 at 12:20 AM.
