Gem's Inky Antics: ABOUT ME
http://gemsinkyantics.blogspot.com/p/about-me.html
Hi folks, and welcome to my Blog. My name is Gemma Maggs and I'm a craft-a-holic! I'm a Welsh lass, born and bred but I now live in North Yorkshire with my lovely husband-to-be, our mischievous Poodle and Monty our small but very old rabbit. This is our poodle. I absolutely love this part of the world, but I do miss the coastline and beaches of Pembrokeshire, West Wales. I try and go back as often as I can to visit my parents (who I miss a lot) and get my 'fix' of beaches! I regularly attend as many work...

http://gemsinkyantics.blogspot.com/2016/08/away.html
Sunday, 7 August 2016. Fly Away with 'Flying Bird'. Time soon flies when your having fun and it's my turn to be DT for Roc Nicholas design team this month. This is my make for this month. On the last Stampotique release of stamps I treated myself to several of Roc's new stamps, and one I couldn't resist was 'Flying Bird'. I fell in love with her straight away and it's such a versatile stamp. I managed to create a very thick, heavy, gritty paste and applied it to this canvas and left to dry. I then painte...
Gem's Inky Antics: It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas......
http://gemsinkyantics.blogspot.com/2016/12/its-beginning-to-look-lot-like-christmas.html
Wednesday, 7 December 2016. It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas. Merry Christmas one all all. Oooh I'm starting to feel all festive and Christmassy. It's that time of year again folks! I just love Christmas time and all it encompasses, it's always been such a special time for me, and I don't think that I'll ever out grow it. The Photo doesn't show the colours off that well. There are lots of brightly coloured 'baubles' in the Christmas tree, but for some reason they can't be seen. Whilst the ink ...

Gems In Life
Friday, July 3, 2009 by Gem. Here’s some good old Chinese wisdom! An elderly Chinese woman had two large pots, each hung on the ends of a pole, which she carried across her neck. One of the pots had a crack in it while the other pot was perfect and always delivered a full portion of water. At the end of the long walk from the stream to the house, the cracked pot arrived only half full. For a full two years this went on daily, with the woman bringing home only one and a half pots of water. But it’s ...
