http://lifeneedleworkandeverything.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html
Life, needlework and everything. Tuesday, December 27, 2011. It has been an exciting month and I finally have a chance to breath! The biggest excitement is one of my gifts from my husband - The Cabinet of Curiosities Course. Part of my busy December was finishing this pillow as a gift for my mother in law. I took a Fabulous Fillings course with Joyce Lukomski. Back in October at our regional EGA meeting and used her filling designs to create this wavy pillow. I used Planet Earth Fiber. This pinkeep is fr...

Very impressive work, Margaret! Thanks for sharing your projects. I liked the stiched ornaments, this is something my youngest daughter could do - nice keepsakes. View my complete profile.

Life, needlework and everything. Sunday, May 11, 2014. Finishing the Wedding Jacket for Pocahontas. I just realized that I haven't posted about the finish of the blackwork jacket that was made for the wedding of Pocahontas in Jamestown. The stitchers were invited to the Costume Design Center in Colonial Williamsburg for the final fitting, but we couldn't post any photos until after the 'wedding'. Isn't it amazing to see it all together? It was truly gratifying to hear so many people exclaim about the jac...

Life, needlework and everything. Monday, April 30, 2012. Time Flies and the Coif Progresses! Can you believe the progress on the coif! Catherine Jordan, our chapter president and teacher and designer par excellence, has been working on the coif for the past few months and when I picked it up from her I was amazed. I can't believe how wonderful it is looking. Every new flower just makes it more beautiful, and the goldwork Catherine added enhances the whole thing. My SIL at Kyrotime. Crazy Daisy - Mandy.

Life, needlework and everything. Tuesday, November 22, 2011. Anniversary quilt and coif update. I received a wonderful surprise in the mail today. A quilt made by my SIL as a 25th anniversary gift for my husband and I. As you can see it is absolutely lovely, and she made it especially with 25 blocks. Cynthia is an incredible quilter and sewer - you can see her work on her blog: Kryotime. BTW, if I remember correctly, the name of her blog relates to one of her other pastimes, drag racing.
