The HeatOn Louisiana: June 2011
http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2011_06_01_archive.html
Monday, June 27, 2011. To say things have been busy is an understatement! And to put together coherent, multiple posts is just really too much to expect from me right now, so this will be a random, rambling post about a few things that have been going on. Here are a few shots from the dinner (and I'm not intentionally hiding my tummy in these; it's just how they wound up! We have already received some precious, precious gifts for Georgia Claire! I teared up opening it! Dad got us the red onesie with the ...

http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2012/02/my-valentine.html
Sunday, February 19, 2012. You cannot imagine how excited I was for Georgia Claire to get this invitation in the mail. A Valentine's sock hop at the church! I got right on looking for her a proper poodle skirt and found a precious one online. She was the hit of the party! People we didn't even know were snapping her picture! Here she is with her friend Livi. GC was so adorable that I submitted her picture to be Photo of the Day on SpearmintBaby.com and she was selected! She cracks me up in this picture!

The HeatOn Louisiana: April 2011
http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2011_04_01_archive.html
Tuesday, April 26, 2011. We're having a . That's right. In case you're among the 2 percent of people whom my mom has yet to call to say she's going to be a grandmother, I thought I should post this news on the blog. We shared the news with our parents a few weeks ago, when we were home for a week of vacation. To let them in on the good news, we had some custom M&Ms made up. Just so you know, I won't be posting a progression of "baby bump" photos here. Just like I'll just say no to nude-ish pregnancy ...

The HeatOn Louisiana: November 2011
http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Wednesday, November 2, 2011. Yesterday, Georgia Claire turned one month old! At her doctor's visit on Monday, she weighed 9 pounds, 9 ounces, which was a huge surprise to me. I expected her to weigh just under 9 pounds, so she gained more than even the doctor expected. That gives me some peace of mind because I've been really stressed about feeding her. She may not always love tummy time, but she's quite good at it! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom). View my complete profile. UGA News and Updates.

The HeatOn Louisiana: Making-Do
http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2013/03/making-do.html
Friday, March 1, 2013. The following article was written about my grandfather Vincent Hix by Beth Bassett and appeared in. Atlanta Weekly on March 28, 1982.). Making-Do in Madison County. That ability to make-do has been severely tested by the 1981 county budget. In December 1980, the incumbent drew up a new budget that, in keeping with the decreased revenues, cut by nearly $135,000 the funds available for county department expenditures. They fussed and fiddled with the numbers. "Right off," Hix said...

The HeatOn Louisiana: September 2011
http://heatonlouisiana.blogspot.com/2011_09_01_archive.html
Monday, September 26, 2011. You know you're in SEC country when. You're not the only expectant mother on the prenatal tour that asks if the hospital's cable package includes ESPN. Saturday, September 24, 2011. Friday morning, as Matthew was getting in the car, he cracked up at the view back at the house. I had come to the door because the weather on our first day of fall felt so wonderful. This was all he could see. He made me go back inside to grab the camera. My pregnancy has flown by so quickly! By th...
