Monday, February 22, 2010. Matt and I spent President's Day weekend in Chicago for our Babymoon. Saturday we went to Shedd Aquarium, ordered pizza and were in bed watching the Olympics by 8:00pm. It was wonderful to relax and stock up on sleep (if only it worked that way). Sunday we did some shopping, went out for a nice Valentine's dinner, and to a play. We had a great time together. Wednesday, January 27, 2010. If you knew Kate and I in college, we were lovely known as Frick and Frack because we were ALWAYS together. Early mornings.with Kids. Friday, January 7, 2011. A Day at home by myself! I do believe life is going to get back to normal for me. Work was really crazy for November and December, but it should be slowing down, I think. Of course we are getting ready to head into a busy season of Winter Percussion contests and other school like things. Does life really ever slow down? Early mornings.with Kids. Wednesday, June 17, 2009. Next week the kiddos and I are heading down to Georgia to see a very good friend of mine. I have been telling her how much I want to come and see her since she moved down there, but we have never been able to work it out. I thought there would be no way this summer either, until I suddenly quit my job and what do you know, I finally had some time. Starting in July the 2 older kiddos will start their band duties. I am very excited for them!

I have finished my first full week of work and by 3:30pm tomorrow my kiddos will be home from their first full week of school. I think we have all done well with this week. Thursday, April 29, 2010. Henry Allan Cherry arrived Friday, April 16th. He weighed 7lbs 13oz and was 20 3/4 inches long. We have been adjusting well to being home and a family of three.
