Being the representation for the Georgian Bay Métis community is a tremendous responsibility and a task that we take pride in. It is important to us that we build strong relationships with not only Métis citizens, but also Aboriginal and mainstream organizations, government and social agencies, elders, the public and community leaders. The Métis Nation evolved in the historic north-west in the 18th and 19th centuries.
