Τρίτη, 20 Απριλίου 2010. DoubleHouse in Trilofos (Mikra). The project is about 2 houses (100s.m. each) that have been placed at the top of a hill in a field of 7000sm in the area of Trilofos. The goal was to transform the space to the needs of a young graphic designer. As the apartment is small(55sm) an open plan was the key element of the design proposition. The owner wanted a sustainable building designed according to the architecture of the area that would feet to the needs of a modern family. Using the stone as the main material and keeping the roofs as an element of the area we simplified the architecture of the rest of the volume to give it a fresh character.
