Here’s what we’re up to! July 1, 2008 in Uncategorized. We went biking again, what a surprise. Actually, we went to the video store to get a movie, so naturally . There’s always something to look at and re-look at. Here’s the big stone chair we visited last year and a picture of the four of us (not easy to come by) taken by a friendly stranger. Here’s what we’re up to! June 26, 2008 in Uncategorized. It’s not all play and no work. We have a household to run. Besides the usual make-your-bed and put-up-your-clothes and where-does-that-belong? They both help in the kitchen though sometimes they get hungry before we are finished with all the helping and cooking. And of course, here in our. Germany, we do a lot of Green stuff. We recycle practically everything, and we often hang out the clothes. Hunter can actually do a bit of yard work.

Here’s what we’re up to! July 2, 2008 in Uncategorized. Sunday was a big day the kids had been looking forward to this since last year:. A visit to Julika and Felina. We started with the horses and both Hunter and Hannah had good rides. We groomed and then went out in the fields, just walking. Afterwards, Julika exercised Mozart a bit more with trots, gallops and jumps. Then to the airstrip. That’s not something that happens every day! It is really amazing how language is no barrier. Finally, a ride.

Werner was called on the stage that last night, too - the (in)famous chicken-laying-an-egg imitation which is of course inimitable. Hunter just needs a bit more practice - I know he can do it, too! Kids in Europe 2010. Three great friends in Bremen and Paris. Sunday, March 28, 2010. People in Germany love storks. First, they're really pretty to see flying. Second, they are good luck. And third, when you see the storks, it means spring is coming and winter is going - always a welcome event here in the cold north. Here's the map. From our house it's about 14 kilometers.
