A little bit of me and a lot of everything else around me…. Of course at the clinic Ma and I had to wait for nearly an hour, the doc lady had gone to the hospital to deliver a baby. So we shook our heads in silent despair over the long wait and sat with our books. It seems on her way out she smiled at Ma and gave her a thumbs up sign. The already nervous mater almost collapsed thinking that I had delivered inside or something…. Waddling as fast as I could, with the excited mother behind me I called up K ...

A little bit of me and a lot of everything else around me…. So it has been quite sometime. Yet again. I know, I know. My excuse – I just had a baby. Actually I cant even use that anymore considering the fact that the said baby is now 5 months old! That’s right, Baby Nutty is no longer a newborn but is now an infant, sigh where the hell did these months go by? Ah well I am hoping this habit continues. And oh my word he is quite the. Music lover, I must say. He sleeps best when he listens to this track.

The Meltdown Log: Racism redux: Race in the mirror
http://saratm.blogspot.com/2009/09/racism-redux-race-in-mirror.html
This could end rather badly . Friday, September 25, 2009. Racism redux: Race in the mirror. Latest edition has a series of stories/pieces on how racism is not something new to Indians - they are indeed old experienced hands at practicing it themselves. These pieces are for the most part short in nature and are personal experiences and opinions expressed by individuals. For instance, in How to Draw Within the Margins. We often nominate ourselves as honorary white.". Are quite telling summarizations. Racis...

This could end rather badly . Tuesday, September 29, 2009. Moon water and "Red Mars". The discovery of water on the moon. Now confirmed by several different moon missions, and most recently by a NASA probe deployed via the Indian Space Research Organization's Chandrayaan I moon orbiter, is astounding news. The Meltdown Log: Contrapment
http://saratm.blogspot.com/2010/03/contrapment.html
This could end rather badly . Thursday, March 18, 2010. Me and the wife at a SuperTarget recently. She's off browsing some section of the store. I wander off to check a nearby section. I turn a corner and see a guy walking towards me. Guy breaks into a smile and points a finger at me with an expression of a slowly dawning familiarity. GuyFromTraget (GFT): "Hey - do I know you from somewhere? You look familiar.". Sorry I can't seem to place you." (I'm trying real hard though! What do you work on? GFT: "Oh...
