Things I would have . Discarded drafts for an unconvincing architectural manifesto. Thursday, March 31, 2011. London belongs to me. As I touched upon it in the last part of my previous post I feel it might be time for a digression on memory, dreams and the city. Way later, after having moved back to Sweden, I was rummaging through my LP's looking for some record or other when I cast a glance at In the Beginning There was Rhythm and there it was: Soul Jazz Records, 12 Ingestre Place, Soho, London. The fir...

Tuesday, 26 October 2010. I want to do what this guy does. An interesting man, his work, primarily commercial, uses 3D visuals in an incredibly playful manner. Similar to the work above, I enjoy his use of simple shapes, demonstrated beautifully in the below Radiohead video. Http:/ www.clauswinter.com/. Tuesday, 19 October 2010. This ambiguous quote by Gartside (2003) sums the term up nicely: "fascination is a sense of being draw into something that cannot be fully explained or analysed.". Not fully unde...

Monday, 4 April 2011. To listen to the show. Look at the playlist here. Listen to our piece on St Peter's Seminary:. This week, we made a trip to St Peter's Seminary near Cardross. This is a remarkable and ghostly building, and really worth a trip. You can get the train to Cardross from Queen St. We took our bikes, but it's only about a 20-minute walk from the station. Here's a map. The green arrow shows where the seminary is. You can look at GSA's Flickr account here. This is a collection of sound recor...
