60 seconds or less - Cat

The Life of a Feminist Feline. 60 seconds or less. Jul 19th, 2010 at 7:55 PM. I'm not doing well at this 'update' business. It's a shame, because although I've been out of the public eye, life's been very interesting (god is it really only just over a month? It was pretty good. Since we last spoke I haven't done my 28 page professional development work-book, a reading list as long as your arm, and three essays. They're all due by 6 August, but life is rather busy. 6 mews Mew at me. 6 mews Mew at me.

No, I'll Be Fine! - Cat
http://ladycat.livejournal.com/427797.html
The Life of a Feminist Feline. No, I'll Be Fine! Sep 24th, 2010 at 11:23 PM. Life is a strange thing. So are pavements, and so are ankles. This one looks innocent, doesn't it? A random 30cm of drop, just at the bottom of a flight of stairs, who'd think that'd be a problem? Or a fractured ankle? No, it'll be fine. I've yet to come crashing down (although an impressive attempt at a backwards hop up the top step came close), but any adventure to skirting board height means a near impossible task of hoisting...

Fifty Something and loving it! Dec 10th, 2014. Just wondering when you stop giving Christmas gifts to kids in the family? I'm mostly curious about nieces and nephews . 18, 19, 20, 21 . 35, 40? 5 comments Leave a comment. Dec 11th, 2014 05:57 pm (UTC). It depends on how close you are to them I think. Do they stay in touch? Visit on a regular basis? I generally feel gifts are for very close family/friends and children especially. Dec 11th, 2014 05:57 pm (UTC). Dec 11th, 2014 09:17 pm (UTC).

Soon my precious - Fuzzygoths Den Of Cognitive Wonder. 23 July 2012 @ 03:23 pm. The excitement is starting to build once more as I come ever closer to attempt number 2 in changing my Career path. I now have six weeks in Aberdeen left which is around 2 months before I enroll at the University of West Scotland for a second time. I have no work on getting my fee's paid and have heard nothing about my Disclosure Scotland security check. 8 comments Leave a comment. On July 23rd, 2012 05:13 pm (UTC). I did a s...

Gonna get the girl, gonna kill the baddies and save the entire planet! Oct 13th, 2008. Apologies, I've been kind of busy and not keeping up. Work is keeping me very occupied to the extent that I now regularly miss coffee breaks and lunch is grabbed whenever possible. There's no sign of this letting up anytime soon either but I seem to be impressing one of the Big Boss's with my ideas and new views on long running problems. Shame he's retiring in a few months. 10 comments Leave a comment. Hurrah for your ...

Dream - if you cant be witty, then at least be bombastic. Jul 30th, 2015 08:41 am. Who's Making Noise Tonight? Had a cool dream I was in a recording studio with every heavy metal star on earth. They were recording a song with Ozzy called "Who's Making Noise Tonight? That was the chorus, at the end Ozzy sings "I YAM! Unfortunately though I spent most of my time in the dream talking to Kip Winger, but I did get to watch some pretty crazy guitar solos and some rawkus partying. Add me: [ LiveJournal.

Delayed action con lurgy has struck - Cobrabay

Tea please, milk, no sugar. Delayed action con lurgy has struck. 22nd Oct, 2012 at 6:34 PM. Despite feeling perfectly fine on Sunday I now feel achey, headachey, have a forehead I could fry eggs on, and generally feel crap. Spent today working from home, though I have so few functioning brain cells my main contribution to productivity has been not going into the office and so not passing the lurgy on to my colleagues. 1 comment Leave a comment. 22nd Oct, 2012 22:01 (UTC). Gonna get the girl, gonna kill the baddies and save the entire planet! Sep 26th, 2008. It took forever to get through to the ward she was on, it was always engaged. When I finally spoke to a nurse on the ward I was told Mum was settled now and feeling much better. She had some oxygen in the ambulance which helped immensely and has had a chest x-ray which is still pretty inconclusive. More tests are on the cards. A Constant Struggle with Reality. Incoherent Words from the Terminally Bewildered. 16 September 2005 @ 10:25 am. Yes, that's right! Tonight is one of the few times where drinking is a really charitable event! So, get your asses to Lucky 13 and assist me in selfless acts of intoxication! I just went and purchased a couple stuffed animals to contribute to the drive. There was hardly anything there. Damn cheapass students and faculty! Don't forget the food drive tomorrow all over the city! The biggest quest...

I know I said I wasn't going to talk about or read about the effects - A Constant Struggle with Reality. Incoherent Words from the Terminally Bewildered. 02 September 2005 @ 01:38 pm. I know I said I wasn't going to talk about or read about the effects of Katrina anymore. I lied. It's making me sick, yet I need to know what's going on. I cannot believe the way things are being handled. It's UNREAL. The following is from a pathologist down in New Orleans. He is a friend of my mother's co-worker. Personall...
