DÍA INTERNACIONAL DEL PUEBLO GITANO. El día 8 de abril del año 1971 se celebró en Londres el Primer Congreso Internacional del Pueblo Gitano. . Se acordó la bandera del Pueblo Gitano. La parte superior, franja azul, representa el cielo. Abajo una franja verde representa la tierra verde y una rueda de carro rojo en el centro, que simboliza los carros los que recorrieron caminos.
