You can make a donation via Everyday Hero: DONATE HERE. We gratefully accept all assistance that you can provide. We accept donations of suitable equipment and cash donations. GiveAbility entered a team in the walk in the Gold Coast Marathon to raise funds for beach wheelchairs and special needs strollers for Gold Coast Hospital oncology paediatric patients. It was a fun day had by all and we continued our fundraising on Sunday 28th August entering a team in Bridge to Brisbane.

The GiveAbility program is something very personal and close to our heart, and born out of our own family’s experiences. Our beautiful daughter Jessica was born on a chilly Melbourne morning on 21 May 2002, apparently strong and healthy. By 6 weeks though, something wasn’t quite right, and at 3 months of age Jessica had her first full blown seizure at Melbourne’s Royal Children’s Hospital, about half an hour after her older brother Matthew had been diagnosed with leukaemia.
