Before Perth follow signs for the A9 to Inverness and turn off to the left at Dalwhinnie and follow directions for Spean Bridge. From there, turn right, following directions for Kyle of Lochalsh until you arrive at Shiel Bridge (16 miles south of Kyle). A change in the local bird life over the last couple of days when stiff winds out in the Minch brought flocks of Gannets to feed in the sheltered waters around Glenelg Bay and Kyle Rhea. One of the best things to see in the natural world, when they fold their wings and drop like arrows to the sea. Back to calm this morning so they have headed for wider seas.
