What You Can Do. Put garbage out on the morning of garbage day, and not the night before. Do not leave pet food outdoors. Thoroughly clean outdoor grills after use. Fill bird feeders only through the winter months. Do not put meat, fish or sweet food (including fruit) in your composter. Keep meat scraps in the freezer until garbage pick-up day. Pick all ripe fruit off trees, and remove vegetables and fallen fruit from the ground. Keep bears out of your neighbourhood. Black Bears: Keep them off the farm.

The 15th Annual Canoe for Cancer was a great success! The paddle raised $15,000 for the Canadian Cancer Society! We also had a few new events running at the park to help support a local charity - Radio for Cardiology, supporting the implementation of an advanced cardiac care centre at Royal Victoria Hospital in Barrie.
