I’m also rather behind on sharing the happy gluten-free meals that I’ve been making. So, without further ado! Lamb with roasted brussel sprouts and sweet potatoes. So, so good. There was a thing with The Job that I resigned from because I was going more-than-a-bit barmy. *makes the gestures of It’s A Loooooooooooooooong Story That No One Needs To Hear*. So, I made my first attempt at canning and made my first. I would like to point out that neither fruit butter nor pie has been tested yet, so it’s possible that they suck. It’s Schroedinger’s Fruit Butter! It made a bit more than I was expecting.

Experiments in Gluten-Free Land. Okay, don’t mind me; I’m a little spaz-y today. It’s been a day. So, I don’t really like traditional tuna/chicken/turkey/egg salads; they’re just kinda mushy and nasty to me. What can I say? I have texture issues. This is tuna with red onion, refrigerator pickles (done by me), pickled jalapenos, feta, kosher salt, cracked pepper, celery salt (which is totally my mum’s fault), cayenne pepper, cumin, coriander, and cardamon. I kinda adore cardam0n. Is good; I likes it.

Cooking time: 35-40 mins. 4 Pears, cored and cut into halves. 1/2-1tsp Vanilla, or 1 Vanilla bean, split and seeds removed. Place the pears in a heavy-based pan. Pour the apple and grape juice over and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat and simmer until pears are tender 25-30mins. Mix yoghurt and vanilla together. Set aside.
