It's early, the coffee I had this morning seems to be on strike (it sure isn't working), and I'm irritated that the 4,800 yen ($42) taxi to the airport was about twice what I was told to expect. We got off the train and were on our way to meet him at a grocery store, when right around the corner from the grocery I saw a small (about 2/3 size) portable golf basket on the sidewalk outside a small shop. Thursday, June 01, 2006. Nice to be home. I visited my family's from this Sunday. It was only three-day busy trip. Usually, I fly home because it takes only about an hour. But this time, I took bullet train and actually enjoyed four hour train ride. On Monday, mom took me to her friend's located subarbun Akita-city.
