There's no place like home! Tuesday, March 31, 2009. As many of you know the month of March is our "birthday" month. It starts with Kyle who turned 20 on March 2nd, then Tori turned 18 on the 4th. Next was Robin's 15th birthday on the 16th. Michael turned the big 4-0 on the 22nd and I lived to be 41 on the 28th. First let me say that it is hard to believe that Kyle and Tori are 18 and 20! Thursday, December 30, 2010. BYU at Air Force. We decided this fall to leave the kids with Taffy's mom and head off for an extended date to Colorado Springs for Jeremy's birthday with the Kinghorns. While the Cougs didn't fare too well against the Falcons, we still had a great time. The Air Force Academy stadium is a great place to watch a game. Sunday, July 12, 2009. Heron Lake Camping Trip. We took the kids camping this weekend and had a really good time. 3 years ago I told Jeremy I wouldn't camp again until I knew my kids would sleep all night. After a test run in the yard we decided the trip was a go. We camped, made flamin' hot smoes , hiked, swam, and had a great time. We can't wait to do it again. Fun with glow sticks. We took a hike along the Rio Chama which has a series of stairs and a really cool suspension bridge over the river.

Wednesday, May 20, 2009. Planning for the Future. We had our first graduation this week. kindergarten graduation. We haven't figured out exactly what the accomplishment is in passing kindergarten, but it was a chance for him to show the kids what looking sharp is all about. Also, some of the kids wanted to be teachers, others wanted to work at ice cream shops, but not this kid. Daddy Daughter Round Up. And another one bites the dust. Thanks to the fire pole at the end of the monkey bars at school.
