To travel about in a casual, relaxed way. A Dearth of Dolphins. THE LOCATION: On-board a boat somewhere on the Gulf of Mexico, drinking a glass or two of wine while chatting up a group of strangers. THE SCENE: Dolphins emerge, frolicking (as dolphins do) behind the boat. Or hunting for food, perhaps; it’s hard, sometimes, to tell with dolphins. I take out my camera. Musings and life of a Southern family transplanted to the frozen tundra. Monday, June 23, 2014. Tonight was our last soccer game. We have loved our little engine-that-could team that turned out to be some pretty fine soccer players 5 seasons later. This guy was on fire tonight! We have been playing with several of the same families since we moved to the frozen tundra 3 years ago. To say the least, it has been a highlight for our family.
