I was starin at the sky, just looking for a star. Mar 12th, 2007 01:59 pm. Well I can't believe we've actually finished the trek already, and now I only have 2 1/2 weeks left in Nepal. Aaaaaargh! Time is going far too quickly. We soon started feeling out of breath as we climbed higher, and had to stop frquently to fill our lungs with thin air and try and slowly aclimatise to the altitude. However, you can't stop for long as you run the risk of getting frostbite! None of us were affected by this, but afte...

Things at the orphanage have settled down somewhat since the - I was starin at the sky, just looking for a star. Feb 18th, 2007 07:58 pm. It's been such an amazing experience though. Hard.sometimes I felt completely overwhelmed by what was going on. But I would do it again, for sure. Once the burnt end has burst open you can strip off the fleshy parts inside and chew on them. It's quite nice, but very stringy.a little like eating a huge stick of lemon grass (different taste, same texture).
