Tales of a Tai Tai: April 2012
http://www.talesofataitai.com/2012_04_01_archive.html
Thursday, April 5, 2012. We're going on an aeroplane. We're flying off to Taiwan this afternoon for a great mate's wedding. I've packed, checked and double checked everything, but still can't get rid of the butterflies in my stomach. I've flown a thousand flights before, packed a thousand bags, but it feels like I'm doing it all for the first time. It's a whole new ball game travelling with Fletch and I'd be lying if I said I wasn't a little scared. I know I've got no real. I guess what will be, will be.

Wednesday, November 14, 2012. Terrible picture but I think it captures the moment rather well. You know sometimes you have moments when you want to violently throw your hands up, storm out and fucking shout loudly "NOT MY PROBLEM! But of course you can't because that problem. Is in fact your nine month old baby, who of course you love dearly, but who right now is driving you fucking insane. Yeah, well that's me. Three times a day at the moment. Breakfast, lunch and fucking dinner. Thing he will eat.

Tales of a Tai Tai: August 2012
http://www.talesofataitai.com/2012_08_01_archive.html
Wednesday, August 8, 2012. Amongst all the madness and sadness going on for those dear friends. I talked about yesterday, life is actually pretty good for us at the moment. Our move out of Midlevels to the 'burbs has been exactly what we needed, and has given us a level of happiness and satisfaction with the status quo that I haven't felt for a long time. Opposite our place. Nice. The local cemetery across the road and a very clean (ahem) footpath. The school opposite our place. Monday, August 6, 2012.

Tales of a Tai Tai: February 2012
http://www.talesofataitai.com/2012_02_01_archive.html
Wednesday, February 29, 2012. And then I started vomiting. And a manner of other bodily functions decided they'd take part in the affair. I'm sure I don't have to spell it out. Let's just say I was feeling all kinds of feral. I'd barely eaten all day, and whatever I had. So I finally made the call to Phil. Can you come home? I need some help". But I'm slowly starting to realise that this baby is changing the status quo. Including my ability to do everything. It's time to step out of the comfort zone.

Olive and Willow: May 2013
http://oliveandwillow.blogspot.com/2013_05_01_archive.html
The adventures of a modern mother. Wednesday, May 15, 2013. The Importance of Time. Every morning starts the same. It is a moment I adore. I gently lift the covers and usher in my beautiful four year old boy. He snuggles in tight, wrapping his little arms around my neck. We kiss and we cuddle. That is the moment that my day starts. In that moment the switch is on. Once the switch is flipped, I am dreaming of everything that should. My old mate Jody. Got me thinking about the need for time. It really is a...

Plus this kid totally toilet trained himself in one week - I really expected it to be a long and drawn out process with him. So chuffed. In the music scene, and thank goodness - so much awesomeness out there at the moment. Macklemore and Ryan Lewis.

Tuesday, July 10, 2012. Nothing special but special enough. It's just the way it has to be. I give you.Saturday's feast. Needless to say, I could have eaten more. But when you're husband is 6' 4", cracks a century, and he says he's had enough? You regretfully pull your pig-arse appetite in and vehemently agree. The rest of the weekend we spent hanging out with friends, perusing some kids shops, swimming,. Spending time as a family with our little man,. Posted by Tales of a Tai Tai. Monday, July 9, 2012.
