We have arrived back to Santo Domingo after rounding off our hard work with a weekend of relaxation in Jarabacoa, a mountainous area of the country. We stayed at an eco-lodge, went rafting, and played a big game of soccer. We are so sad to leave this country and all the friendly people in it! As we stepped out into the airport in Nadi, Fiji and were greeted by live musicians, we felt the warmth that would accompany us on our final five days as a group. The slopes of Wanaka were frigid, and we were ready to spend some time on the beach, playing volleyball, snorkeling, surfing, and concluding our adventure on a relaxed and wonderful note.
