The Rainmakers were a Kansas City, Missouri-based original rock band which had a small string of hits in the late 1980s and early 1990s in the United States and Europe. Tornado. Should convince you. Was the in-dubious-taste "Johnny Are You Queer? Which was such a controversial song at the time of its 1982 release that the rest of her fantastic debut album album was overlooked in the brouhaha.
