A few weeks ago (I actually don’t remember the exact date), my brother. Officially got himself a girl. I would say, “Her name is Laura,” but that reminds me of that opening line from Barry Manilow’s. Which begins with, “Her name is Lola.” And since Peter’s Laura is not a showgirl like Lola, we don’t want to draw any comparison there. Back to what I was saying.

Strange Things Happen in Tahiti…. In Which Some Pelicans Pose. June 29, 2014. June 29, 2014. Saturday during the cruise was our one port of call, Cozumel Mexico. If you aren’t familiar with it, it’s a lovely island about 12 miles off of the mainland of the Yucatan peninsula. The water is unbelievably clear and blue, there are beautiful tropical fish, and it’s flat as all get out. Coming in to Cozumel at sunrise. I wish I knew why I had been awake this early.
