Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit: Response Question of the Week #1: Can air keep the heat out?
http://gr6flightsis.blogspot.com/2009/03/response-question-of-week-1-can-air.html
Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit. Wednesday, March 4, 2009. Response Question of the Week #1: Can air keep the heat out? Can air keep the heat out.mp3. Http:/ gr6flightquestion.blogspot.com/. March 5, 2009 at 10:19 PM. Great podcast everyone. It was great and I am glad that I had the opportunity to edit the raw recording for you. I have a question about your experiment: Was is the air that kept the heat out or the two cups that trapped it? Just wanted to know. Thanks Chris.

Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit: Experiment #2
http://gr6flightsis.blogspot.com/2009/01/experiment-2.html
Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit. Friday, January 30, 2009. Keiko, Chloe, Wyatt, Selah, Jack and Nick. January 30, 2009 at 8:14 PM. Ms Wang was a lof of fun because of the many experiments that she had us work through. My favourite experiment was Experiment #2 with the propeller blades. Trying to figure our what angle to set the blades and how many on the spool to see how fast it would spins was fun. Thanks for sharing. Josh. January 30, 2009 at 8:16 PM. January 30, 2009 at 9:09 PM. SE6 Teacher-Librarians: October 2009
http://se6tl.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Monday, October 26, 2009. Web 20 Aps and Distractability. While reading about the issues and challenges of using web 2.0 tools in the classroom I came across some pretty interesting things that I'd like to share with you in regards to distractibility and whether or not the new social networking tools have a place in our classrooms. On the heels of a story about a Ryerson science professor who attempted to have a student expelled. Y) I learned about a professor who has incorporated Twitter. So now I retur...

Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit: Experiment #4
http://gr6flightsis.blogspot.com/2009/02/experiment-4.html
Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit. Monday, February 23, 2009. Our experiment was really cool! Stephanie, Troy, Salim, Randy, Matthew and Kyla. March 3, 2009 at 7:33 PM. March 4, 2009 at 2:40 PM. Just like in a real plane you have to be able to control everything it does to this experiment was a good way to explain what the rudder and the flaps on a plane are used for and why the air and weight ratios are so important when in flight. Keiko. March 6, 2009 at 8:08 PM. March 7, 2009 at 12:16 PM.

Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit: Experiment #1
http://gr6flightsis.blogspot.com/2009/01/one-of-experiments-we-took-part-in.html
Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit. Friday, January 30, 2009. Food coloring rose to the top whereas, the blue food coloring sunk to the bottom. Again, this is a good example of food coloring acting as hot and cool air pressure. When the water temperature evened out, the two colours blended together and turned into purple. Therefore, when air is hot it rises and when air is cold it drops. Why do you think this information would be valuable for our flight unit? February 2, 2009 at 7:25 PM.

http://gr6flightsis.blogspot.com/2009/01/experiment-3.html
Grade 6 Flight Scientists in School Visit. Friday, January 30, 2009. On January the 22nd 2009, we had a Scientists in School visit. Ms. Wang introduces us to the properties of air and principles of flight. We had 1 experiment about high and low pressure. Our materials used included. Why is it important to learn about high and low air pressure when related to flight? ERIC, Dan Yang, Gloria, Salena, Victoria, Eric, JESSICA. February 1, 2009 at 10:58 AM. Experiment #3 was cool and fun! This experiment was r...
