http://gracewing13.blogspot.com/2012/11/china-golf.html
Bali and round the world, 2012. Once Again I am off to the Mensa gatherings for Asia, the International Board and Australia. In between the last 2, I will be in the US for work, with a golf holiday before that starts. Sunday, November 11, 2012. Since I had change my depature to today, I had to have an early tee time. I played on a public course near Conroe, less than 30 minutes away. This was the Wedgewood course and from the back tees has a slope of 130 and a rating over its par - ie quite hard. The ear...

A gem of a place. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). I play Golf off a 7 handicap and I have played hockey (field not ice) for Western Australia in the Veterans championship 9 times and for ...

US and Thailand 2010. After the success of the last 2 trips to the US I have again been asked to spend some time in the client's office developing new features to their software. By a stroke of good fortune, the timing will allow me to stop in Thailand on the way home to play golf with the guys and 1 girl from my old club. Friday, April 2, 2010. Once again I was awake around 5 and again I did some work for Houston. If I can't sleep I might as well be getting paid for being awake. I play Golf off a ...

US 2009: Under pressure
http://gracewing8.blogspot.com/2009/05/under-pressure.html
After last year's trip to the US, the first in 9 years I was not expecting another one this soon. However the engineers with whom I work have pulled some strings so I'll be there for 3 weeks working on further upgrades to their system. Wednesday, May 20, 2009. I also organised my expense claim which has lightened my wallet of a heap of receipts. I watched the Phantom of the Opera DVD that I borrowed from the library the other day.
