My Fantasy Poem 2 | PENCILBRAIN:-)

https://grainne2000.wordpress.com/2013/01/06/my-fantasy-poem-2

My Fantasy Poem 2. Published January 6, 2013. A creature with eyes like black stars, shrouded in forgotten moonlight. Watches darkness drip and trickle and seep. Through a kaleidoscope of forgotten dreams. Listens to the tinkle of shattered promises. The broken wing of a dying moth flutters so gently. Worthy of a nobler end than the one fate serves, cackling so cruelly. Another promises breaks, tinkling so sweetly we press thin lips together to hear. The newspaper does its butchers work. My Fantasy Poem 3.

Published July 7, 2012. To Helen. Thank you for everything. Roiling and toiling, sadness, not gladness. A lightning and thunder storm where darkness trumps light. Boiling and coiling, badness and madness. A sea of emotions with no end in sight. That’s how it feels to have not a single friend. To stand in bitter loneliness till the very end. To navigate alone, every twist and turn and bend. To have not one person to whom your letters you can send. Then, suddenly it was like a warm wind blew. My vision clo...

my strange poem | PENCILBRAIN:-)

https://grainne2000.wordpress.com/2012/11/04/my-strange-poem

Published November 4, 2012. She rolls sluggishly out of bed. Knowing nothing of the colder, crueler world that exists alongside her own. Just as the fragile, innocent ladybug knows nothing of the dark feathered bird that swoops down from above. Like a taloned red eyed messenger of death. She shuffles mechanically into the crumbling ruin of the ancient bathroom. Scrubs the tears and grime from her bloodless face. Not noticing the midnight black wings that arch up from her bony back. And she sinks finally ...

https://grainne2000.wordpress.com/2012/05

All posts for the month May, 2012. My ryhming ghost poem 2. Published May 3, 2012. Icy fingers creeping down my spine. Stealing fast what once was mine. Patching up the hole with a needle and twine. The heartless creatures expect me to be fine. Icy fingers trailing down my head. My body feels as heavy as lead. My vision clouds and all I can see is red. The heartless creatures are waiting to be fed. Icy fingers slipping down my toe. Showing me who’s friend and foe. My heart is sliding down so low.

The Suttonses in Bangalore. My day pack →. YOGA (THE STRETCHES) Part 2. This is part two of YOGA (THE STRETCHES). Here are some more stretches:. The shoulder stand. To do the shoulder stand you must balance on your head and shoulders. It increases memory power, will power and many other functions of the upper body by making the blood flow in that direction. Expectations vs Experience | The Suttonses in Bangalore

https://bengalurublues.wordpress.com/2012/07/21/expectations-vs-experience

The Suttonses in Bangalore. Perth Crazy: The things I’m REALLY looking forward to. Having arrived safely back home I guess it is time to do a bit of a review. I looked at my post “My love / hate list after one week”. So, what did I actually expect when we came here? I expected it to be hot. And yes, it was hot. In the beginning we had a dry heat, later it got more humid. I wore a cardigan a couple of times in the evening against the mozzies, otherwise I didn’t need anything long sleeved. Friendly. Ye...

Was enough to send us all scurrying off to the burning hot, crowded swimming pool with our tails between our legs. The beach in Perth. Yep, even though it’s going to be in the dead of winter when we get back, I’m still looking forward to just walking along the beach, feeling the glorious, salty sea breeze on my skin and splashing happily in fish gut- free water. I want an oven! My brother wa...

The Suttonses in Bangalore. Having arrived safely back home I guess it is time to do a bit of a review. I looked at my post “My love / hate list after one week”. So, what did I actually expect when we came here? I knew India would be very different to every other place I had ever been to. I have done extensive travelling in Europe, I have explored southern Africa and have occupied some rubber floats going down rivers in eastern Siberia. But I knew, India would be a different category. Friendly. Yes a...

Savandurga | The Suttonses in Bangalore

https://bengalurublues.wordpress.com/2012/04/22/savandurga

The Suttonses in Bangalore. Bangalore Poem →. Last Sunday we finally managed to get way beyond the boundaries of Bangalore. Our destination was Savandurga Hill, one of the largest monoliths of India, about 35 km from Bangalore, rising to 1226m. We had admired the landscape on TV watching Passage to India back in Australia. Little did we know then that we would be living pretty close to the location where all the hill scenes were filmed. The Big Banyan Tree. Going up Savandurga Hill. Hand at difficult str...

The Suttonses in Bangalore. YOGA (THE STRETCHES) Part 2. Tea, tea … and more tea →. On our travels roaming round Bangalore to discover the hidden secrets or obvious environment, sightseeing or going shopping… I usually take a kind of survival pack which I think is worth describing in the context of this blog. Drinking water. Hot weather, thirsty family… carrying drinking water is a must, especially as tap water is not drinkable. Insect repellent. Especially when going out after sunset. Phone To order a c...

Interesting things for every day

Interesting things for every day. 17 July 2017 @ 04:54 pm.

My Fantasy Poem 5. Published January 6, 2013. Strange little creatures that don’t belong. A heart that beats to a hopeless song. An ancient picture in a dusty frame. A compass needle without an aim. An ancient scar that will never mend. A twisting road without an end. A shattered mirror in an empty room. An unbelieved prophecy of danger and doom. A nameless child without a home. An abandoned ghost left to wander and roam. A casket of secrets, black and cold. A forgotten story waiting to be told. A creatu...
