Saturday, December 19, 2009. This year our ward had Breakfast with Santa. Kaid was super excited to get to see Santa so that he could ask for a Buzz Lightyear for Christmas. (This was his one and only chance, seeing as how I do not believe in waiting in line to see Santa at the Mall. Does that make me a bad mom? Maybe I'll work on that for next year.) Monday, September 28, 2009. A New Kind of Kaid. Yesterday at church, we got there a little behind schedule. The only available "soft" seat was in the front row. (It was the perfect teaching opportunity, because we have been at a loss for what to do with Kaid during sacrament meeting! The whole sacrament meeting went so well! With Kaid at least, Brielle is another story all together! It was really cute, one of those melt my heart moments! Thursday, September 24, 2009. Checking it out to see if she likes it.

You were always the brilliant one yet so loving and so kind. It's hard to think that you are in heaven now and we can't see face to face. You will always be known as a sweet husband, father, grandfather, son, and brother that we all loved and adored. But the courts on high needed you more and they called you home. It's wonderful, isn't it?

We enjoyed our 1st week of summer by playing games, riding bikes, playing at the park, working in the garden and lounging around the house. It was a very good week.
