April 29, 2011. A tradition we always had growing up, was to find our Easter baskets that my mom would hide for us. I always thought it was so fun to have to look around the house to find it. I think once Crew understands the concept of searching for his basket, I will implement that tradition, but for now, I just stuck them in the fireplace and he eventually stumbled upon his basket. October 31, 2011. This year for Halloween, Crew went as Justin Bieber, and Sloan was his #1 fan. Do my kids even know who he is? But I sure do. I figured this was probably the last year that I have any say in what Crew was going to be for Halloween, and since he is pretty particular about what he wears, I didn't think that he would wear a costume anyway. So this way, as Justin Bieber, he just thought he was wearing regular clothes. Sloan as Justin's one less lonely girl. Cupcakes i made for the cake walk}.

June 19, 2012. PAT - Kinder Group. Crew has been doing a kinder group (pretty much like pre-school, but I stay with him during the hour it takes place. Program once a month during the summer that is through Parents as Teachers. If you are not familiar with Parents as Teachers, you should really click on the link and see if it is offered in your area. It is so great! And whats even better, is that it is free! February 29, 2012. February 20, 2012. 80's themed birthday party. The other Sunday at church, one of the Mia Mades was giving the lesson and started to read a story from the manual that was from 1976. She looked at me and the other leader and said, "So.you guys were probably only like 2 years old when this story happened.". I was not born in 1974! 1985 is a little more accurate. Nothing wrong with being 38, but when your 26 it sort of makes you want to get botox. After all, I wanted to be Kelly Kapowski.
