We have been so happy with Kirkmont Preschool and are thankful for the loving women that have invested in Claire's life. One of Claire's preschool teachers, Mrs. Murray. FINDING JOY IN LIFE'S EVERY DAY MOMENTS. Tuesday, April 17, 2012. We had the neat experience of watching several of the painted lady butterflies as they emerged from their cocoon. They stay on their cocoon in a vertical position for about two hours. We got to watch as they flapped their wings to dry them out. And to get blood pushed into their wings. It's really quite an amazing process and I highly recommend doing this with your children. We all learned so much! Claire released each of them by hand!

They had a lady nicknamed 'Ms. Rainbow' from Boonshoft Museum come and talk to the kids about, wait for it. RAINBOWS! She was a great lecturer and really held the kids' attention with the experiments she allowed them to take part in. It was fun to watch Claire and her classmates participating and excited about learning! The kids with their 3D glasses!
