Training for Half Mary-Thon: April 2007
http://halfmarython.blogspot.com/2007_04_01_archive.html
Training for Half Mary-Thon. I am a 55 year old woman training for my first half-marathon. The Colorado Colfax Marathon on May 20, 2007. Saturday, 21 April 2007. I just finished a great and fabulous 10 mile run. Now don't get the idea that my time was great, because clearly it wasn't. However, 4 miles into my run, I started crying. Why? You ask. because I realized that I was NOT in pain! Now why does it take 4 miles to realize that? Slow Boat to China" by Bette Midler. I feel happy and strong this morning.

Training for Half Mary-Thon: Icy Easter Weekend
http://halfmarython.blogspot.com/2007/04/icy-easter-weekend.html
Training for Half Mary-Thon. I am a 55 year old woman training for my first half-marathon. The Colorado Colfax Marathon on May 20, 2007. Saturday, 7 April 2007. That's the snow and ice encrusted cord from my iPod after yesterday's run. The entire front of me was a sheet of ice. That being said - I enjoyed the run immensely! I am worried about my lack of mileage. I hope that I will be able to increase it this week. We are now 6 weeks out from the race! Posted by Mary Christine. Jason The Running Man.

http://halfmarython.blogspot.com/2007_03_01_archive.html
Training for Half Mary-Thon. I am a 55 year old woman training for my first half-marathon. The Colorado Colfax Marathon on May 20, 2007. Saturday, 24 March 2007. March 18 - 24. I ran 15.32 miles. I just spent about 5 minutes trying to 'strike through' the word "ONLY", as in I "ONLY" ran 15.32 miles this week. Today I "ONLY" ran 7.2 miles - see the above photo - it was pouring rain and 40 degrees. And, it was the most wonderful run I have had in a long time. The pockets of my windbreaker! My running shoes...

Training for Half Mary-Thon. I am a 55 year old woman training for my first half-marathon. The Colorado Colfax Marathon on May 20, 2007. Saturday, 19 May 2007. This blog has moved. And since this blog links to my other blog which identifies me as a sober member of Alcoholics Anonymous - I am not going to link this blog to my new blog. Yikes! That sounds very convoluted. I have individually let people know where my new blog is. If you don't know and would like to know, please send me an e-mail.

Quest for Ironman: July 2005
http://questforironman.blogspot.com/2005_07_01_archive.html
Just finishing is a victory! Sunday, July 17, 2005. Why do I call my bike Christine? Well it was just after I bought my bike from a friend of mine at work. He said that he hated to give the bike up, but had to as it was interfering with his home life. Interfering with his home life indeed. How could I turn it down? We agreed on a price. Posted by Fe Man @ 12:45 PM. Links to this post. Sunday, July 10, 2005. Good news is that I didn't hurt my shoulder any more. I'll take it for the first race. The Physica...

Quest for Ironman: December 2005
http://questforironman.blogspot.com/2005_12_01_archive.html
Just finishing is a victory! Tuesday, December 27, 2005. In honor of week ten, I figured that I would share with you my ten commandments of gym etiquette. VI Thou Shall Not Treat The Gym As A Meat Market - Trying to score a date at the gym is a big no-no. Of course, the gym can be a great place to meet people who share your fitness interests, but most people are there to sweat, not flirt. See someone interesting? X Thou Shall Not Leave Sweat Puddles - Touching other people’s excretions is gross. So g...

Quest for Ironman: June 2006
http://questforironman.blogspot.com/2006_06_01_archive.html
Just finishing is a victory! Sunday, June 25, 2006. We did another long ride today just shy of 50 miles, but no running. During the middle of the ride, a section of our usual course was closed down to vehicle traffic, which made the ride better then normal. There seemed that there was an abundance of cyclists out today. It seemed like a convention or something like it and the funny thing was that these guys were all riding expensive bikes not what would be normally out for the Sunday ride. Might it have ...
